European Youth Parliament: Session and the speech
From February 2nd to 4th, 2024, Levon Sahradyan, an
11th-grader, had the opportunity to participate in a European Youth Parliament (EYP Armenia) session funded by the EU. During this event, he represented the Committee on
Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety (ENVI) and engaged in debates with
a community of bright-minded individuals discussing the issues facing the EU.
On the final day, they held a General Assembly where he delivered a speech on
the topic of light pollution. "As we all gathered here to discuss problems
occurring in the EU countries, it is urgent to mention the issue of light
pollution, which is becoming increasingly widespread and relevant in many
developed countries nowadays." Read Levon’s story about the event on his
blog.
